Skandia ups single investor platform charge

Skandia is increasing the single investor charge on its platform as it looks to upgrade systems and improve its service ahead of regulatory changes.

From 14 June, the annual charge on Skandia Investment Solutions will increase from £52 to £68, raising the annual cost by 0.025% of fund value for the typical customer. "At less than 20p, a day our new annual platform charge is modest but it is an essential part of ensuring we are able to deliver a platform service that adds value to both customers and, in turn, their advisers over the long term," says Skandia UK chief executive Peter Mann (pictured).
