BIBA teams up with broker research group

The British Insurance Brokers' Association (BIBA) has joined forces with insurance research panel Broking Now.

BIBA said it aims to help develop the research panel so that the sector has access to independent broker research that can be used to lobby government, policy makers and the regulator on issues most affecting members. Eric Galbraith, chief executive of BIBA, said: "There has never been a more important time for us to have a strong independent channel for brokers to voice their opinion. We have already hit the ground running as we are using Broking Now as part of our wider research to lobby for appropriate proportionate and cost effective regulation from the new regulator."
