We would like to wish all our readers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

This year has been an eventful one for IFAonline as the debate over the future of regulation for advisers heated up and we were at the centre of the action. Markets have also been volatile but as the FTSE 100 hovers agonisingly close to the 6,000 mark as the Christmas break approaches, advisers and their clients could be forgiven for taking a more optimistic view going into 2011.
