Should this platform key facts document be an industry standard?

IFAs signed up to Nucleus have drawn up a proposal for a one page platform disclosure document for clients which they hope will set the standard for the industry.

The proposal, part of a wider white paper prepared by the Nucleus IFA advisory board, has been drawn up in response to issues covered in the FSA's platform papers DP10/2 and CP10/29. The one-page disclosure document entitled Key facts: what you absolutely need to know aims to put the consumer "centre stage" by including a summary of charges they will be expected to pay and making it clear what they can and cannot do.
