Government seeks industry perspective on LTC

The Department of Health's Commission on Funding of Care and Support has called for evidence and fresh perspectives on the future funding of care and support.

The ‘Call for Evidence' launched by Andrew Dilnot, the chair of the Commission, is published on the Commission's newly launched website and outlines an analysis of the problems with the current system and the priorities for reform. The call seeks industry views on how the issue should be tackled and how new solutions could be implemented. The Commission said it wanted to build on the various solutions it has to date and to ensure it has gathered all the evidence available.
