Stuart-Brown quits Friends Prov for Intrinsic

Friends Provident head of protection sales Ed Stuart-Brown has left the provider to join network Intrinsic Financial Services as group protection director.

Stuart-Brown had been with Friends for 18 years and was promoted to head of protection in 2006. He left the company on Friday. A Friends Provident spokesman says: "Ed is a very knowledgeable person in the protection space. He has done very well running the sales team and we wish him well for the future." Richard Freeman, Intrinsic CEO, says: "Ed brings fantastic experience to this new role, both in terms of provider knowledge and working closely with appointed representatives and IFAs."
