Focus Solutions shares soar as it confirms offer talks

Software provider Focus Solutions, whose major clients include Tenet Group and AWD Chase de Vere, is in preliminary discussions over a possible takeover of the company.

The company issued a statement after its share price soared from 96p to more than 140p yesterday. Talks may or may not lead to an offer being made for the entire issued share capital of the company, the Board said. It added discussions are at an early stage and there can be no certainty that an offer will be made or as to the terms of an offer. Focus Solutions clients include Tenet Group, St James's Place and AWD Chase de Vere, as well as Barclays, HSBC and Bank of Ireland.
