Canada Life re-launches group CI

Canada Life has re-launched its group critical illness (CI) policy.

The re-vamped plan is now available to all new group CI schemes and for scheme renewals from 1 January 2011. It now includes partnerships with support service Red Arc and second medical opinion service Best Doctors to provide support for employees and their families, an increased range of conditions covered and a claims helpline to assist claimants and scheme members with the process. The provider has also increased its maximum free cover limit to £500,000 and reduced the survival period to 14 days.
