Former SimplyBiz managing director Ian Thorneycroft was posthumously awarded a 'significant contribution' gong at the Personal Finance Society (PFS) annual conference this week.

The IFP and PFS Conferences are finished for another year. Here is a list of all the 2010 award winners: IFP The David Norton ‘Building Excellence' Award This is a highly prestigious award presented to the firm judged to have outstanding potential to develop as a successful financial planning firm. It is awarded in memory of David Norton FIFP, CFP, a former president of the IFP, and the significant contribution he made to the profession prior to his death in 2005.
