Close hires former Cofunds and Standard Life executives

Close Asset Management has appointed former Standard Life man Andrew Gillespie as marketing director and Anita Juneja, previously of Cofunds, as head of strategic relationships.

Gillespie, who will report to head of UK Wealth Management Steven Mendel, joins from Standard Life where he was managing director of marketing in the UK. He was previously director of brand marketing at Lloyd's TSB, leading negotiations for its sponsorship of the London 2012 Olympic Games. Juneja, reporting to Gillespie, will be responsible for establishing and managing strategic relationships with platforms, wraps and life assurance companies.
