What has driven the fund performance so far in 2010? The markets are still recognising the value in some of the most oversold areas following the credit crisis. As a contrarian manager, I adopted a positive stance at the beginning of 2009 when most other investors were extremely pessimistic. I thought the far-reaching policy response to the financial crisis would avoid an economic depression.
