The Conservatives pensions capability has been severely damaged with the loss of Nigel Waterson from the commons, the EEF says.
Tory pensions spokesman Waterson lost his Eastbourne seat overnight. Waterson has been a key part of the current 2012 reform package, a key proponent of political consensus and is noted in the industry for his knowledge and commitment to pensions. EEF head of employment policy David Yeandle said he was surprised Waterson lost his seat. He said: "I really didn't think he would lose his seat.
