Standard Life appoints chief financial officer

Standard Life has appointed Jackie Hunt chief financial officer and executive director.

She will move from her role as deputy group finance director, which she has held since January 2009, at the end of the company's AGM on 14 May. Hunt joined Standard Life from Aviva, where she served as Norwich Union's chief financial officer. She has also worked at Royal & Sun Alliance as deputy director of capital management, and as director of global capital markets at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
