U party founder Robin Ellison has withdrawn from the May 6 election race.
The former National Association of Pension Funds chairman and current Pinsent Masons partner was in the running to become the next MP for Hampstead. He intended to campaign on a number of issue with pensions reform a central part of his manifesto. Ellison predicts there will be a Hung Parliament and has decided to stop campaigning but will redouble his efforts at the next election.
