Succession poaches 2plan's Smith in recruitment drive

Business consultancy Succession Advisory Services has hired 2plan Wealth Management recruitment director Ian Smith as part of a £1m investment in its transition and support programme for member firms.

Smith is joined by former Thinc recruitment director Richard McGarvey, who joins from independent consultancy Acumen, and Frank Dixon from Zurich Financial Services. The trio add to Succession's team of relationship directors, who work with practice principals to steer them through its transition programme. Succession has also made a further two hires to work with implementation director Stuart Anderson. Keith Brown joins from specialist consultancy Integrated Asset Solutions while Martin Vaughan joins from paraplanning specialist Paragon. They will help member firms embrace a ...
