A single-issue political party, focusing on pensions reform, has been launched by former National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF) chairman, Robin Ellison.
Ellison, who is currently a partner at Pinsent Masons, wants to be the next MP for Hampsted. The U Party - set up by Ellison - wants to overhaul the tax and occupational pensions systems in the UK. The party's website says: "Because of our background, we have a special interest in the UKs pension system - which is too complicated and unfair. We have detailed proposals to fix the state pension, private pensions and the tax system for pensions, without additional costs.
