Bluefin sells pension trustee business

Bluefin has sold its pension trustee business, SBJ Professional Trustees, to Pitmans Trustees Ltd.

Both the business and the staff of SBJPT were transferred to PTL with effect from January 1, 2010. SBJ's head of practice, Steve Carrodus, says: "We are very excited about the future for our clients and our team. PTL is an innovative and forward looking company, with the same commitment as us to high standards of service. "Their team is personable and pragmatic in its approach. The transfer will combine our resources, so improving efficiency and the knowledge pool to the benefit of our existing and new clients."
