Cofunds marketing and proposition director Alistair Conway has rebuffed Brian Dennehy's suggestions the platform has lost IFA backing, saying its sales volumes show the level of adviser support.
Conway says Cofunds has continued to gain traction with advisers in the first six months of the year, with the platform seeing £1.6bn in net sales over the period, four times its nearest competitor. "Advisers all start from different places, we are trying to be as pragmatic as possible," Conway says. "We are delighted with the progress on the platform and we think we are doing the right thing.
