Former FSA chief joins compliance firm

Clive Briault, former managing director of the FSA, has joined consultancy firm Financial Services Compliance(EU).

Briault will work closely with Ben Goh, managing director and principal consultant at the independent firm, in leading a growing team of compliance consultants. The FSC is bolstering its team to help clients effectively deal with regulatory changes arising from the credit crisis and further likely changes from the 2010 general election. Briault spent a number of years at the Bank of England and the FSA at very senior levels and is highly regarded in the UK and internationally, says Goh.
