Ex-Towry Law finance director joins Succession

Former Towry Law finance director Alan Wardrop has joined Simon Chamberlain's new IFA consolidation vehicle Succession Advisory Services.

Wardrop, who left Towry Law earlier this year after eight years at the firm, will report to Chamberlain, the founder and former chief executive of Thinc. Chamberlain says Wardrop's mergers and acquisitions expertise, in particular, will help the company attract IFAs. Succession, which launched in May with offices in Devon and London, plans to acquire 85 IFA firms with the aim of bringing together more than £7bn funds under management.
