Balanced pooled funds strengthened in July with a median return of 6.2%, figures from BNY Mellon Asset Servicing show.
The performance measurement firm says returns for the year to date on balanced pooled funds had also improved with a return of 5%. However, over the one and three year periods to July this year, balanced pooled funds posted negative returns of -5.8% per annum and -1.0% per annum respectively. The five and 10 year returns come back into positive territory with 6.3% per annum and 2.3% per annum respectively. Active UK Equity managers returned 7.7%, net of fees, for the month.
