The Annuity Bureau offers new fee approach

The Annuity Bureau has changed its approach to offer a range of service levels and fee structures to match.

Customers of the annuity supermarket, owned by Alexander Forbes, can now choose one of five different service levels when shopping for an annuity. They can also choose whether to pay for advice by fee or commission and elect to do some of the administrative work themselves to save even more money. The new options range from the basic online-only Self-Select Annuity Service, which allows customers to perform quick real-time research of the annuity market and select a provider without advice, to the comprehensive At Retirement Advice option, which offers a consultation with a wealth man...
