Aegon praised for embracing tech and e-functions

Life insurance giant Aegon has been congratulated for embracing technology and improving its electronic capabilities.

So far in 2009, the company has been awarded 12 ‘eee' ratings - the highest available - by technology consultancy the Financial & Technology Research Centre (F&TRC), more than its sector rivals. It now has an ‘eee' rating for its group pensions, personal pension accumulation, individual protection and wealth management product lines. F&TRC's e-Excellence ratings are awarded to companies that have embedded technology and electronic capabilities in their product range and are able to demonstrate they save advisers and their clients time and money.
