Lloyds Banking Group unveils intermediaries head

Lloyds Banking Group has hired Peter Curran to head up its intermediary business.

Reporting directly to Nigel Stockton, the sales director for mortgages, he will be tasked with increasing the amount of business from IFAs and mortgage brokers. He will have over-arching responsibility for the firm's brands, including the Halifax, C&G, Scottish Widows and Birmingham Midshires. Curran was previously head of distribution for Bank of Scotland and Intelligent Finance Mortgages.
