Barclays Wealth has rolled out a range of capital-protected investments with enhanced rates on its previous offerings.
The suite includes the Protected FTSE plan, which boasts one-and-a-half times the rise in the FTSE 100 up to maximum return of either 27pc (three-year option) or 60pc (five-year option). Alternatively, the plan offers a kickout option, which will deliver a 30pc return after two-and-a-half years if the index is 30pc or more above its starting level. If the FTSE 100 has grown by less than that amount after two-and-a-half years, the plan will continue on the same terms as the standard five-year option.
