Demand for ISA advice hits record high

THE demand for advice on ISAs hit a record level this year, according to an IFAP report.

The IFAP quarterly Advice Drivers report said consumer demand for advice on ISAs rose by over 1,000 requests or an 8pc increase between January and March 2007 relative to the same season last year. Nearly 150,000 requests for an IFA were made through Unbaised.co.uk in the first quarter of 2007, according to the report. An all time high was reached of nearly 16,300 requests for ISA advice between January and March 2007, up from 15,000 during the same period last year.
