Aberdeen bags Guinness VCT

ABERDEEN Asset Managers has won the management contract to run the under performing Guinness Flight VCT.

Aberdeen’s Growth Capital team has been selected to replace Inflexion Private Equity Partners as investment manager to the £19.1m VCT, agreeing a minimum four year contract to manage the fund. Neil MacFadyen, investment director for growth capital, will be the lead manager of the VCT. He will be supported by the Growth Capital team, which is based around the UK.
