CII exams going online

THE Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has fast-tracked the introduction of online examinations.

The official start date for web-based exams is January but in preparation for the change, the CII has arranged advanced sessions until December 19 at 46 centres throughout the UK. The new arrangement will enable candidates to enter for an exam at a convenient date, rather than sit it at one of the traditional quarterly sessions. CII deputy director general Bob Bullivant said: “I am sure the online service will be popular and I expect the places for the November/December sessions to go fast.” The service will cover the Certificate in Financial Planning, Certificate in Mortgage Advic...
