Fidelity announces replacements for Stavis

Fidelity is to replace John Stavis by promoting long-serving research analysts to run two of its UK growth and income vehicles.

From July 1, Michael Clark will assume responsibility for the £653m FIF Income Plus fund and Matt Siddle will take on the £226m FIF Growth + Income fund. Clark has been with Fidelity for five years and brings 20 years of investment research experience to the portfolio assignment, whilst Siddle joined Fidelity in 1999 and became director of research in 2005. The appointments follow the decision by current manager Stavis to take a six-month sabbatical after 13 years in investment management at Fidelity.
