CONSUMERS will be the biggest critics of a firm's treating customers fairly (TCF) principles, the FSA has warned.
Clive Briault, manager director, retail, at the FSA said mistakes or shortcomings will not go unnoticed given today's "speed of communication". Speaking at the FSA's Treating Customers Fairly Conference, Briault also said firms have been given an excellent opportunity to get things right. "Consumers are more likely than ever to take matters into their own hands and can seriously damage the reputation of a company very easily," Briault said.
