New "clean tech" fund open

PRIVATE investors can now take advantage of a private equity portfolio which invests in unlisted clean technology companies.

The Robeco Clean Tech Certificate means investors can benefit from the fast-growing “clean tech” sector which makes products for alternative energy sources markets and works to find more efficient ways to use commodities. The underlying fund, which is only available to institutional investors, is the Robeco Clean Tech Private Equity II which is managed by Robeco Alternative Investments. However the certificate allows private investors to reap the rewards of the clean-tech private equity area.
