FSA to give small firms RDR chance

clock •

SMALL firms will be given the chance to air their thoughts on the Retail Distribution Review at a series of roadshows organised by the FSA.

The regulator will run the sessions nationwide in September and October at venues in London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and Belfast. Firms must book places online. The FSA published the RDR in June and proposed to divide the regulated investment advice market into two parts: professional financial planning and advisory services, and primary advice. The paper’s six-month consultation ends on 31 December. If you would like to comment on this story or speak to its author, telephone Scott Sinclair on 0207 034 2636 or email [email protected]
