THE Financial Services Compensation Scheme has appointed the head of its claims division to the board as executive director.
The FSCS said the promotion of Ron Devlin was in recognition of the need for more than one staff director on the board, adding that with claims being the core function of the organisation he was the natural choice. The other staff board member is chief executive Loretta Minghella. There are seven non-executive directors, including chairman David Hall.
