Octopus takes over management of Close VCTs

Octopus Investments has confirmed that it will takeover management of all three AIM VCTs managed by Close Investments - representing around £65m of total assets - as of 1 August.

In addition to this, Andrew Buchanan and Kate Tidbury, managers of the Close AIM VCTs, will be moving to Octopus from Close to continue the day-to-day management of the funds. Chris Hulatt, a director Octopus Investments, said: "We are delighted to be taking over the management of these three AIM VCTs and to be welcoming Andrew and Kate, both highly regarded investment professionals, to Octopus.
