New Close fund targets 200pc return

CLOSE Fund Management is launching a new closed-ended capital protected fund providing a return of 200pc growth from a portfolio of soft and hard commodities.

The Guernsey-domiciled, London-listed fund will invest in equally in oil, copper, aluminium, zinc, nickel, sugar, corn and wheat. The offer period for the fund closes at the end of the month and it is expected to wind up after six years. The fund, similar to a product launched by Close two years ago that had gold instead of soft commodity exposure, is eligible for ISA and PEP investment, has no cap on the potential return and 100pc capital protection at maturity.
