BSA appoints head of mortgage policy

The Building Societies Association (BSA) has recruited Paul Broadhead, deputy director-general of the Association of Home Information Pack Providers, as head of mortgage policy.

He will lead the Association's new mortgage policy team and joins the BSA in November 2008. Broadhead started his career with the Halifax Building Society carrying out a number of roles in the branch network across all product areas, as well as being a qualified mortgage adviser. Following relocation to the main Head Office site in 2000 he moved to the role of Senior Project Manager – Mortgages.
