Mortgage sourcing provider Trigold is undertaking a survey of brokers to gauge their feelings about the need for sourcing systems to show direct-only products.
The survey is open to all users and can be accessed via the Trigold website at www.trigold.co.uk.
David Aylmer, business development and marketing director at Trigold, says the firm had received no more than a handful of requests for these deals to be accessible, but said ongoing dialogue with users about their requirements was essential.
He continues: "We did conduct a series of feedback sessions with a broad spectrum of our users representing networks, clubs and individual firms some time ago and there was no desire expressed to display these products. However, this does not mean that the door should be completely shut on this and we are very happy to revisit this and invest the time to find out the current attitudes around this topic.
"We are keen to discover whether there is a place for these products even if it is merely as an additional filter for non customer-facing research purposes. We hope to publish the results of the survey within the next couple of weeks."IFAonline
