As many as 65% of 18-35 year olds don't know who the Chancellor of the Exchequer is, according to new research from 1st The Exchange.
A total of 32% of those surveyed believe Alistair Darling to be 'The Home Secretary' whilst 20% think he is 'The Shadow Chancellor'. Others believe him to be 'The Minister for the Department of Work and Pensions' (9%) and 'The Head of the Liberal Democrats Party' (5%).
