PFS launches first Chartered awards

The Personal Finance Society (PFS) is launching its inaugural Chartered Awards in a bid to widen awareness of Chartered status and recognise professional achievement in financial advice.

The awards ceremony will take place on 26 November in London, following the PFS 2009 Annual Conference. There will be six categories: Chartered Financial Planner of the Year - Individual Chartered Financial Planners of the Year - Firm Highest Achiever in the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning Highest Achiever in the Diploma in Financial Planning Citizens Advice Bureau - Money Planner of the Year The John Ellis Award - For significant contribution to the sector The winner will be decided using a three stage process.
