Equity release 'no miracle cure', advisers warned

Advisers are being warned not to become reliant on equity release business to make up for falling sales in other areas.

Dean Mirfin, business development director at Key Retirement Solutions (KRS), says many firms are going to the expense of acquiring training in equity release business without having enough leads to make it worthwhile.
