Broker John Charcol has confirmed it has scrapped its telephone-based fee-free advisory arm Charcol.
The brand is being amalgamated within the John Charcol brand, with a fee of £250 now being charged per case completed from today. A spokesman for the firm comments: "This is a reflection of the current market conditions. It is getting harder and harder to place cases, with more work having to go into the presentation of each case." "Our clients will still receive an independent, professional service." IFAonline
