Bad week for trading on the FTSE

Scottish Power fell 5.75p to 357p and Amvescap lost 4p to 411p - the money manager’s first decline in three days. ARC International dropped 1p to 18p after the company, which designs semiconductors, reported that fourth-quarter net loss more than doubled to £9.1m, from £4.3m in the year-earlier period. Easyscreen shed 2.25p to 29.75p after the software maker’s chairman Philip Docker sold 425,000 shares.
