Platform forges XML links to packagers

Platform is to integrate its online c lickdecision tool with a number of selected packagers' internal systems using XML technology.

The move will enable packagers to use the software platform in conjunction with their own bespoke technology to create greater efficiencies and save hours of labour, says the lender. Platform’s claims the move will also give it the technological lead in the specialist mortgage sector by providing an improved service to a number of packaging relationships. It also says brokers will ultimately benefit the most from the additional functionality as they will be able to receive a binding decision from Platform either via the lenders’ website, or via its selected packager partners.
