Benchmark 'seal' unveiled for professional partners

A service has been launched for IFAs, accountants and solicitors to try and establish a recognised benchmark or ‘seal of approval' for professional partnerships with intermediary firms.

Called Select Partners, the new business was launched yesterday at the IFP Forum for Success in Hinckley, Leicestershire through a partnership by threesixty, the compliance specialists, and management consultants Independent Professional Development, to try and bring closer understanding for accountants and solicitors of how an IFA firm operates by establishing a set standard or kitemark of professional adviser business which firms will then recognise when seeking partnership links.
