BlackRock has launched its new BGF China fund designed to capitalize on the growth in the Chinese economy.
The fund invests over 70% of its total assets in the equity securities of companies domiciled in, or exercising the predominant part of their economic activity in the People’s Republic of China. Its benchmark is the MSCI China 10/40 Index. The BGF China fund is available in the UK and Hong Kong and joins BlackRock’s flagship Global Funds umbrella, a Luxembourg SICAV, which totals 61 funds.
