McHardy moves to IF

Intelligent Finance (IF) has appointed Murdo McHardy to the newly-created post of head of mortgages.

McHardy will join IF on 30th October from Scottish Widows where he was head of product development. He has been brought on board at IF to help strengthen the bank’s position in the offset market which is expected to grow to 30% of total mortgage lending at £84.7bn by 2009. Mark Parker, Intelligent Finance’s managing director, says: "I am delighted that Murdo is joining us. The insight he can bring us in terms of profitable offset business is second to none.
