Mortgage brokers and advisers are continuing to support IFAonline.co.uk's campaign for action on dual-pricing, with over 30 detailed responses received so far.
However, the FSA has continued to disappoint on the issue at the Mortgage Business Expo, with the regulator’s head of mortgages and credit unions, Jonathan Fischel, stating that dual-pricing was still a commercial matter for banks, and was not in breach of TCF principles. However, brokers reacted angrily to Fischel’s speech, with many saying that the FSA was failing to take it’s own principles-based approach seriously.
