AMI calls for adviser-lender unity during credit crunch

Chris Cummings has called for mortgage intermediaries and lenders to work together to help restore confidence in the market.

The director general of the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) also says he is confident those hit by the credit crunch will return to full strength when favourable market conditions return. In a market commentary released today, Cummings says: “At times of turmoil in the market the first thing to be hit is consumer confidence.
