UNIPASS calculator launched

Users of UNIPASS, the digital certificate technology replacing different website usernames and passwords, can now calculate time and money saved by using the service.

Financial advisers using UNIPASS collectively saved £288,000 per week, according to research published by standards organisation Origo in September 2004. The calculator now available shows advisers who do not use the technology what levels of savings they could be missing. The calculator works by asking advisers how much time they spend looking for user identities and passwords each week, their earnings, and how many people in their organisations could benefit from the technology.
