Abbey re-introduces broker exclusives

Abbey for Intermediaries has announced it will re-introduce mortgage exclusives for brokers after withdrawing them last month.

The exclusive deals will only be available to a limited number of commercial partners to begin, though Abbey says a full rollout will follow as market conditions improve. The products available will be subject to a maximum LTV of 50% and rates will be between 5.76% and 5.81%. In recent weeks, brokers have faced the problem of having large numbers of intermediary mortgages withdrawn or prices raised to uncompetitive levels, meaning many consumers can now access a better deal on the high street.
